The U.S. Supreme Court has denied a Petition for Certiorari filed by a local grower.

Michael Abatti and others sued the Imperial Irrigation District over the District's Equitable Distribution Plan. After an initial finding in Imperial County Superior Court in favor of Abatti , the Court of Appeals overturned the majority of the decision of the local judge. Abatti then filed the Petition for Certiorari with the U. Supreme Court. That petition was denied by the nation's highest court without comment.
