He is the Correctional officer arrested in March 2019. He was later found guilty of forcible lewd act upon a child, and lewd and lascivious act on a child under 14 years. He was sentenced to 8 years in prison and probation. Part of the probation is to pay restitution. How much restitution has yet to be determined. A restitution hearing was to be held this month. At the hearing it was agreed to continue the process to July 30 at the Superior Court in Brawley.
