(Shaking in the north-end)...A swarm of earthquakes along the Westmorland fault line.

The swarm began Friday and is continuing. The biggest quake, a magnitude 5.3, hit at 10:55 Saturday morning. Most of the temblors are micro-quakes, measuring magnitude 2.9 or less. Monday three stringer earthquakes were recorded all in the same hour. At 2:08 Monday there was a magnitude 4.1 earthquake. At 2:19 there was a magnitude 3.4 and a 3.6 magnitude quake at 2:24 pm. The US Geological Survey says swarms are not unusual in the area, especially along the Westmorland Fault.
