The Niland Public Safety Facility will open on Friday.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 8:00 a.m. The building houses the Imperial County Fire Department and County Sheriff’s substation. The new facility will also provide a Cool-zone cooling center to provide relief from the summer heat. The facility was partially funded by the California Department of Housing and Community Development and by Imperial County.
