An early morning fire destroyed two buildings in El Centro.

The fire was reported at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday in the 700 block of Broadway. An abandoned house that has burned at least twice in the past several months and an office building immediately to the west of the house were involved. El Centro Fire with mutual aid from fire departments throughout the Valley battled the blaze and remained on scene throughout Saturday morning.
