(Imperial County Film Commission)....Their next webinar series has been scheduled.

On Saturday May 29th, the Commission will host the second in a series of virtual educational webinars. The theme will be Visual Design and Filmmaking. The webinars are free and open to the public. Marc Hlavaty will lead the discussion. His resume includes experience in production, motion graphics, graphic design and editing for companies such as KCET Public Television, Warner Brothers, and Disney Television. He currently works as a location manager and scout and is a member of Teamsters 399 and the Location Managers Guild International. The webinar will cover topics ranging from art department composition, duties and coordination with various departments including director, wardrobe and locations. It is aimed at the independent filmmaker. Those interested in participating must register no later than Thursday May 27 at the Commission's website FilmImperialCounty.com.
