(COVID 19 update)....New numbers released by the County Public Health Department.

There are currently 148 active cases of the virus. There are 15 COVID 19 patients hospitalized in the county. Six COVID 19 patients are in Intensive Care. There is one ICU bed available in the county. Vaccinations continue to increase locally. There have now been 101,718 doses administered. 41,138 have been fully vaccinated. 60,580 have been partially vaccinated. The positivity rate is currently at 13.41%. The State Tier Metrics for Imperial County indicate new COVID 19 cases per day per 100,000 population is at 12.3. The positivity rate 7 day average is at 5.6%.
