A small swarm of earthquakes rocked the Imperial Valley Wednesday night into Thursday.
According to the U. S. Geological Survey a number of small earthquakes were recorded with an epicenter about 4 miles Southwest of Holtville. The strongest shaker was reported at 8:52 p.m. Wednesday and was a magnitude 3.7. A 3.4 temblor was recorded at 8:29 p.m. and a 3.0 shaker at 7:08 p.m. A number of much smaller earthquakes were also reported. No injuries were reported but residents said the magnitude 3.7 seemed to roll for a long time.
