Caltrans says eastbound Interstate 8 will be closed Monday night.

The closure will run from 9:00 p.m. Monday to 5:00 a.m. Tuesday. One lane of westbound traffic will be closed as well. Traffic will be detoured from Forrester Road to 4th Street/SR86. The closure , postponed from last week , is to allow construction crews to install false work as part of the Imperial Avenue interchange project.
