(Former Correctional Officer sentenced)....Gilbert Carpio was in court recently.

Carpio had been convicted of Forcible lewd act upon a child and Lewd or lascivious act on a child under 14 years of age. He was originally arrested in March 2019 Before issuing the sentence, Judge Christopher Plouyrd reminded the court of Carpio's pervasivness  and strong pedophilic desire. Tghe judge then issued an 8 year sentence for each count. The 16 years will run concurrently.
