They were postponed due to gusty winds in the forecast. CalTrans says the closures has now been set for Monday. They say the full freeway closures on Interstate 8 between Forrester Road and Highway 86/4th Street are scheduled for 4 consecutive nights beginning Monday, for the I-8/Imperial Avenue Interchange Project. Construction crews will close all lanes on eastbound Interstate 8, from Forrester to 4th Street Monday from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am to install falsework. One lane of westbound I-8 will also be closed during this time with the remaining westbound lane open to traffic. Crews will close all the westbound I-8 section Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 pm to 5 am. The same stretch of eastbound I-8 will be closed overnight Thursday, April 1, during the same time.
