(Load of hay spilled)...It Happened Friday morning.

The California Highway Patrol says the rig was traveling on Highway 78, west of Ogilby Road. The driver told the CHP he swerved to avoid a deer that had run onto the roadway. The tractor remained upright, but the trailer overturned, spilling the load of hay all over the roadway. Both lanes of the Highway were blocked for about two hours to allow for clean-up. Nobody, including the deer were injured in the incident.
