(Two Wednesday morning collisions)...The first was a two vehicle collision.

It was reported at 8:53 am on Highway 111 at East Ross Road. The California Highway Patrol says there was major front end damage. A 59 year old passenger in one of the vehicles suffered what was described as minor injuries. She was transported to El Centro Regional Medical Center for Treatment. The second collision was reported at 9:23 Wednesday morning at the Andrade parking lot. The CHP says it was a single vehicle collision. No injuries reported. They say a vehicle was wedged under a pole and had to be pulled out. No information as to how the vehicle became wedged under the pole.
