Imperial County Fire Department battled another brush fire Monday.

The two-alarm fire started as a controlled burn that jumped into a drainage ditch. The fire , south of Seeley , burned in the ditch as firefighters worked to keep it from spreading in to the New River bottom. According to reports , no structures were threatened. Fire personnel remained on the scene into the night.
