A 24-foot long Toy Hauler trailer burned Friday morning.

The California Highway Patrol received the report of the vehicle on fire at about 11:15 a.m. The Imperial County Fire Department responded the the area of State Route 78 and Ogilby Road and was able to douse the fames but not until the trailer was totally destroyed. The northbound lane of the highway was blocked for a time. The incident remains under investigation.
