(Number of COVID related increases)....COVID related deaths must be confirmed before they are added to the COVID Dashboard.

County Public Health says it could take days to confirm a death was attributed to the virus. As of Tuesday morning, the number of COVID related deaths was at 573, 12 more than what was reported Monday. Th number of active COVID 19 cases in Imperial County continues to decline. According to the Tuesday report there were 589 active cases, as compared to 611 reported on Monday. There are currently 40 COVID patients hospitalized in Imperial County, down 3 from the previous report. There ar 2 ICU beds available in the County. The new cases per day per 100,000 population is at 29.44, down from 30.39 reported Monday. The Positivity Rate is also down, currently at 20.66% as compared to 21.96% reported previously.
