It is celebrated nationally every February. Congress declared National Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month for the month of February in 2010. The month long campaign is dedicated to raising awareness about teen dating abuse. During th month the focus is on advocacy and education to stop dating abuse before it starts.
