(Border Patrol arrests convicted sex offender)...It happened Wednesday.

El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents assigned to the Calexico Station encountered a man who had illegally entered the US. He was found about 3 miles west of the Downtown Calexico Port of Entry. The man was arrested and taken to a rally point for processing. A records check revealed the man was a 50 year old Mexican National. It also revealed he had been convicted for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor in 2008., in Ohio. He had been sentenced to 12 months in prison, before being deported back to Mexico. The man was taken into federal custody. So far this fiscal year, El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents have arrested and removed 8 individuals either convicted or wanted on sexual offense charges
