El Centro Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive Officer Anthony Moreno has submitted a letter of resignation.

Moreno has been with the El Centro Chamber for almost nine years but will be leaving to pursue a career opportunity with El Centro Regional Medical Center. Chamber President Anne Irigoyen said , " During Anthony's 8 years with us , he has re-positioned the organization and made the El Centro Chamber a reputable resource , a strong advocate , and a community partner for our members." Irigoyen added that the Chamber has a strong team in place and is financially sound. The El Centro Chamber is moving forward with the plan for the Imperial Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce with the Imperial and Westmorland Chambers.
