The National Weather Service ( NWS ) has issued a Flash Flood Watch for the Imperial Valley.

The Flash Flood Watch means conditions may develop that lead to Flash Flooding. The Flash Flood Watch is in effect for Imperial County and most of Yuma County including the communities of Yuma , Calexico , Ocotillo , Salton City , Brawley , Desert Shores , El Centro , Winterhaven , Plaster City , and Imperial Hot Mineral Springs. The Watch is in effect Tuesday through late Wednesday.
