(Big Rig incident)...It happened early Tuesday morning.
A big rig traveling south on Highway 86 spilled it's cargo. It happened at just after 4 Tuesday morning on Southbound Highway 86 near South Marina Drive in the north-end. Pallets, boxes and other debris spilled onto the Highway and was struck by at least two other big rigs. The California Highway Patrol shut down both southbound lanes of Highway 86, and detoured traffic around the debris. The closure allowed for clean-up and removal of at least one damaged rig. No injuries were reported. The CHP was investigating the incident.
