A tractor trailer rolled over Tuesday afternoon.

The accident was reported at 3:43 p.m. Tuesday on eastbound Interstate 8 just east of the truck escape ramp on Mt. Springs Grade. The trailer load of roofing tiles spilled onto the shoulder of the highway. Caltrans is expected to retrieve the vehicle and clear the debris Wednesday morning. The driver was transported to El Centro Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
