There are reports that the 65 and older group may be moved up on the list. COVID 19 vaccinations are currently underway. Phase 1A is basically for essential workers, each tier covering the different worker groups. Under the current plan, the General Public residents will not receive the vaccine until Phase 1 B. There are reports that efforts are underway to try any move seniors up in the order. As it stands now applications are in the Phase 1A Tier 2. They still have to go through Tier 3 before Phase 1B begins. It is not known how much support the change has in Sacramento, but the Governor has said if there are extra doses, it makes sense that they be used for those in the next tier levels.
