El Centro Police arrested a burglary suspect Thursday afternoon.

The 29-year old man was arrested near Imperial and Ocotillo Avenues in El Centro after police had been alerted to the break-in of a nearby residence by an alarm. Before being booked at Imperial County Jail on burglary charges the suspect was taken to El Centro Regional Medical Center after he told arresting officers that he had swallowed something.
