El Centro Police Officer Alejandra Hurtado had been charged with False Imprisonment and Assault with a deadly weapon by means of force or produce great bodily injury. The jury found Hurtado innocent of both charges. The court declared a mistrial on lesser charges after the jury failed to come to a unanimous decision.
