(The Navy Flight Demonstration Team)...They arrive at the Naval Air Facility El Centro in January.

They conduct 90 days of training, before beginning their tour season. The Blue Angels homebase is Pensacola, Florida, but have trained at NAF El Centro for the past several decades. The team of Navy and Marine pilots have been flying F/A-18 Hornets for the past several years. This year they have upgraded to the Super Hornets. Their first Air Show will be in April at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, Florida. Because of the COVID 19 pandemic, there again will be no Air Show at NAF El Centro. They hope to resume that tadition in 2022.
