The Keep California Working Act is supported by Democratic Assemblyman Eduardo Garcia, Republican State Senator Andreas Boreas and Democratic State Senator Anna Caballero. The measure would invest $2.6 billion in grants toward small businesses and employees experiencing financila losses due to the COVID 19 pandemic. It includes an urgency clause that will allow it to take effect immediately once it is approved.
