The Imperial County Public Health Department says that the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine should arrive in the Valley this week.

Public Health Director Janette Angulo said the vaccine is expected to be here between December 16018. The vaccine will then be redistributed to Pioneers Memorial Hospital and El Centro Regional Medical Center so that their highest risk staff can be vaccinated. The vaccination are expected to take place shortly after the vaccine arrives.
