An early morning shooting wounded a Yuma man.

According to the Yuma County Sheriff's Office , at 2:30 a.m. Thursday they received a report of shots fired in the 200 block of south Avenue B. Arriving deputies found a vehicle with numerous gunshots and multiple shell casings in the area. Deputies later learned that a man with a gunshot wound went to Yuma Regional Medical Center for treatment of a gunshot wound. The wound was not considered life threatening. The incident remains under investigation.
