(Two Arrested)...It happened Wednesday at the Highway 86 Checkpoint.
A man and a woman in a grey Lexus drove up to the checkpoint and were referred to the secondary inspection area. A Borer Patrol K-9 Team alerted to the vehicle. Agents searched the vehicle and discovered 3 vacuum sealed packages hidden under a child safety seat. Two of the packages tested positive for Fentanyl. The third package tested for Oxycodone pills. The Fentanyl was valued at around $25,750. The pills were valued at around $9,820. The driver of the vehicle, a 34 year old male, and the 28 years old female passenger, both US citizens, the narcotics, and the vehicle were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
