(More turkeys in the North County)...They are being given away Tuesday.

The traditional annual event is in partnership with the Comite Civico del Valle and Assemblyman Eduardo Garcia and several other community groups. Because of the pandemic, the give away is a little different. Recipients are not being given actual turkeys. 250 people are receiving $25 Gift certificates for turkeys. Drive through stations were set up in Brawley, Westmorland, Calipatria and Niland. The give away is first come first served.
