Hurtado is an El Centro Police officer being charged with False Imprisonment and assault. Prosecutors in the case requested the continuation. They said a witness may have been exposed to COVID 19. The defense argued saying that was heresay. The judge decided to be safe, and rescheduled the readiness hearing for November 17.
