(Veterans Day is Wednesday)...One of the few holidays not celebrated on a Monday or Friday.

The County Board of Supervisors and the Imperial Irrigation District have announced they will be closed on Veterans Day. The County says emrgncy services will still be available during th holiday. The IID says emergencies can still be reported, such power outages, downed power lines, etc can still be reported. Banks and other local, state and federal offices are traditionally closed on Veterans Day.
