Even though the Brawley Chamber of Commerce said no the Westmorland , Imperial and El Centro Chambers have agreed to explore the opportunity to form a Regional Chamber of Commerce.

The Brawley Chamber decided not to participate at this time due to financial concerns. The Regional Committee ChairBari Smith said , “ We are confident that our Chambers can continue to succeed as individuals but we are excited at the prospect of how much more we can achieve together.” Smith went on to say that the goal for a decision of Westmorland, Imperial , and El Centro Chambers to merge ( or not ) is by the end of 2020.
