(Boirder Patrol arrests convicted felon)...It happened Monday evening.

Border Patrol agents observed a man enter the US illegally. The man was arrested and taken for processing. During a records check it was determined the man was a 34 year old Mexican National. The records check also revealed the man was convicted in 2013 of attempted Murder and Voluntary Manslaughter out of Los Angeles. The man was placed in Federal custody pending criminal prosecution.
