(Public events making a comeback)...Slowly, but a few have been planned.

Holtville will be hosting a Farmers Market at Holt Park on Thursday. It will be opn from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm. They have not said if restrictions such as wearing face masks or social distancing will be enforced. The City of El Centro will be hosting a free Pumpkin Splash this Saturday at the Aquatic Center. Participants jump in and pick a pumpkin in the floating pumpkin patch.. Only one pumpkin per child. It starts at 11:00 Saturday morning To register to participate go to cityofelcentro.org/parkandrec/facilities. Masks will be required at all times when not in the pool. Social distancing will be observed at all times. The Imperial Chamber of Commerce has scheduled their annual Christmas in a Small Town. It wi9ll be held December 12. The Chamber has a list of requirements and restrictions. Contact the Chamber for that list.
