(The latest COVID 19 update)….It was released Wednesday morning.

The COVID updates are released by the County Health Department. The latest update indicates the numbers are, again, going the wrong way. According to the Wednesday update the New Cases Per Day Per 100,000 population are now at 18.49, up from the 16.92 reported Tuesday. The Positivity Rate has also gone up to 10.65%, up from the 10.51 % reported Tuesday. Deaths attributed to COVID 19 in Imperial County have increased by one from the Tuesday report. They are now at 336. 75,704 people have tested for the virus. 12,610 have tested positive. 11,917 have recovered. Active cases have also gone up to 357 from 307 reported Tuesday.
