El Centro Police are investigating two burglaries reported over the weekend

Sunday morning police responded to the report of a break-in at a residence in the 1400 block of Olive Avenue. Entry to the home was made through a kitchen window. The burglar apparently cut themselves in gaining entry to the house and left a blood-stained kitchen towel. Also left behind were a baseball cap and a pair of white Converse low top tennies. Police collected blood evidence as well as the other items left behind by the crook.

Shortly after midnight Monday morning police responded to the report of a burglary at a business on S. Imperial Avenue. A rear door of the business was kicked in sometime sometime Sunday night or early Monday. A tool box , tattoo machine , backpack and a sound bar were taken. There was blood found inside the business as well. Both burglaries remain under investigation.
