Two big rigs collided Friday afternoon.

The accident was reported at about 5:30 pm. at the Brawley Bypass intersection of Highways 78 and 111 near Hovely Road. One of the big rigs rear ended the other. Imperial County Fire Department responded to clean up about a 100 foot oil spill. Westbound traffic was detoured during the clean up. Both drivers were transported to Pioneers Memorial Hospital with injuries.
