The Imperial County Public Health Department issued an update on the COVID-19 numbers for Friday.

The dashboard shows two deaths were recorded since the Thursday update. The number of deaths is now 312. The number of active cases in the county is 326 with a total of 11,534 positive cases reported since the pandemic outbreak. The new COVID-19 positive cases per day per 100,000 is at 9.09 , slightly higher than the day before and the positivity rate for the count is 4.63%. 

The City of Calexico has accounted for 3,480 of the cases with El Centro at 3.068 , Brawley 2,002 , Imperial 1,081.
