Imperial County's COVID-19 numbers continue to show improvement.
The information released Wednesday morning show that the county has 9.91 new COVID-19 positive cases per day per 100,000 population The State of California Guidelines require a new case rate of 7.0 cases per 100,000 residents , maintained over two weeks , to move to the next level of reopening the local economy. The positivity rate is 4.31% , below the State's guideline. The Wednesday update from the Imperial County Department of Public Health showed one more death recorded. The number of positive cases in the county is 11,435 with just 338 individuals said to have active cases of the virus.
