(COVID 19 Vaccine Trials)...They are underway in several areas.

The idea is to have a provin vaccine as soon as possible. Imperial County will b a part of those trials. Oxford University researchers and Astrozeneca have enlisted UC San Diego to enroll a larg, diverse group for COVID 19 trials. According to a release the nationwide vaccine trial will include 30,000 people in 36 states. UCSD is enrolling 1,600 in San Diego County and 1,200 in Imperial County, in partnership with El Centro Regional Medical Center. The trials began tuesday.
