(Three Day Labor Day weekend)...The Holiday weekend traditionally marks the end of summer.
The current COVID 19 pandemic could change how the holiday is celebrated. At least officials hope it does. They are warning against people gathering with family and friends. They are advising the public social distancing, wearing masks and other health orders are still in effect. The Imperial Irrigation, the County and other government offices will be closed on Monday. The California Highway Patrol will be in their hoiday mode, with increased patrols on all state roadway. Maximum Enforcement goes into effect at 6:00 Friday evening and continue until 11:59 Monday night. Other DUI enforcement is also expected during the holiday weekend.
