El Centro Police are investigating two separate accidents that involved apparently impaired drivers.

The first accident occurred at about 1:15 a.m. Wednesday at 8th and Pico. An SUV ran into a parked pick up. A 31-year old man was cited for driving under the influence. 

At about 4:20 a.m. Wednesday , a car smashed into a parked pick up truck in the 300 block of south 6th Street. The driver of the car sustained minor injuries and was treated at El Centro Regional Medical Center.
