(Two murder suspects in custody)…They are suspected in the murder of Raul Esparza.

The suspects have been identified as 39 year old Daniel Alexander Munguia and 45 year old Rosita Deborah Torres. Both are residents of El Centro. The body of 30 year old Esparza was found in a burning trash can in September 2019. The Imperial County District Attorney’s Office officially charged the suspects with murder on Tuesday. Munguia was already in the County Jail, for assault with a deadly weapon, when he was arrested. Torres was taken into custody last Thursday at her home.
