(County Task Force is back)…They had been sent to the Apple Fire.

County Fire Chief Estrada says the team returned to the County earlier this week. The fire is still burning and is only 30 percent contained. As of Thursday morning it had burned 28,085 acres in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. It has destroyed 12 structures. One injury has been reported. Most evacuation orders have been lifted in Riverside County. Oak Glen remains under evacuation orders in San Bernardino County. Cal Fire says San Gorgonio Wilderness is closed to all use.
