(COVID 19 update)…It will be presented to the County Board of Supervisors.

The Board meets Tuesday. The presentation will be made by the County Public Health Department. It is strongly suggested anyone from the public interested in the meeting to view the live stream available on the County website. The Board will discuss sending letters to the US Bureau of Land Management, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and the California Department of Parks and Recreation. The letters will ask them for input on the upcoming tourist seasons. The Supervisors are expected to approve the Public Benefit Scholarship Ad Hoc Committee award Recommendations and approve an immediate amendment to the 2020-21 proposed budget. They are expected to ratify an agreement with Republic Services, Inc., for cleanup and removal of fire debris resulting from the Niland Fire, in amount not to exceed $600,000. The Board is also expected to form an Ad Hoc Committee and approve a Health Equity Resolution. The Supervisors go into public session at 10:00 am Tuesday.
