(Calexico names new City Manager)….As expected, the new City Manager is Miguel Figueroa.

The City Council had said Figueroa would be the new City Manager the same day David Dale had submitted his resignation as City Manager. Figfueroa has served as the Assistant City Manager for the past 3 years. This week the Council mad his appointment official by voting unanimously to approve his new contract. The contract is for five years, with a base salary of $169,000 annually, plus benefits.
