The number of lives lost to COVID-19 lost continues to grow.

The Imperial County Public Health Department updated the information on the pandemic Monday morning and it shows the number of deaths in the county is now 117. So far , in a county of approximately 185,000 people , 7,190 individuals have tested positive. Currently there are 1,017 active cases in the Valley. Imperial County continues with a mandated Stay-at-Home order as well facial coverings required in public places. Non-essential gatherings of any  size are prohibited.
