U. S. Borer Patrol agents rescued a man lost in the Jacumba Wilderness region west of Ocotillo.

Saturday evening shortly after 10:00 p.m. , a man who had crossed the International Border illegally called 9-1-1 and said that he was lost in the desert about 22 miles west of Calexico. Border Patrol agents in the area were able to locate the man , a 29-year old Mexican national , about 45 minutes later. No medicl attention was needed and the man was processed for illegal entry and expelled back to Mexico.
